Memorable Publishing ("we", "us") is a self-publishing business led by El-Roy R. Cook, based in Century City, Cape Town, South Africa. This policy explains how we collect, use and protect personal information in line with the Protection of Personal Information Act, 2013 (POPIA).

What we collect
- Contact details you give us: name, email address, phone number and delivery address.
- Booking and enquiry details, such as the service you are interested in and information about your book.
- Order details: items purchased, delivery method and payment status. We do not store card numbers; payments are processed by our payment provider.
- Manuscript files you choose to send us.
How we use it
- To respond to enquiries, book calls and deliver coaching and publishing services.
- To process and deliver orders, and send eBooks and order updates.
- To manage your book project.
- To send our newsletter if you subscribe. You can unsubscribe at any time.
- To improve the website and our services.
Sharing your information
We share personal information only where needed to deliver our services: for example with payment providers (such as PayFast, PayU or Yoco), couriers, printers and website hosting providers. These parties may only use it for that purpose. We never sell your information.
Your manuscript
Your manuscript and ideas remain yours. We treat them as confidential and use them only to deliver the services you have asked for.
Cookies and local storage
The website uses essential browser storage to keep your cart working. We do not use advertising or tracking cookies. You can clear browser storage in your browser settings.
How long we keep it
We keep personal information only as long as needed for the purpose it was collected, or as required by law (for example, financial records).
Your rights
Under POPIA you may ask to access, correct or delete your personal information, object to its processing, and withdraw consent for marketing. Contact us at the email above. You may also lodge a complaint with the Information Regulator of South Africa.
Security
We take reasonable technical and organisational measures to protect your information against loss, misuse and unauthorised access.
